Greetings and welcome to our blog page here at Bell Ford! Stick with us and we'll strive to keep you in-the-know about all the goings-on of our esteemed American automaker.

And, in the interest of getting things going with a bang, today we thought we'd feature our full-size SUV standout, the 2017 Explorer.

So, without further ado, we turn your attention to the clip below. Tag along with our friends over at MotorWeek to discover that which the Explorer has in store:

There are three unique engine options within the Explorer range, all of which are tied to a six-speed automatic transmission.

First up is the entry-level 3.5-liter V6. Available with your preference of front- or all-wheel drive, the base six-banger is rated at a respectable 290 horsepower and 255 pound-feet of torque.

Optional on the Base and XLT models is a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder. Generating 280 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque, this mid-level engine is a superb pick for shoppers seeking that extra bit of athleticism.

And then there's the top-of-the-line 3.5-liter turbocharged V6. Offered only with the Sport and Platinum trims, the turbo-V6 produces a very plentiful 365 horsepower and 360 pound-feet of torque.
